Ikram Isa
Ikram is a biomedical engineering student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She fell in love with computer science through the Programming For Engineering With Matlab course at her school and has since gained a great appreciation for computational logic. Working at Devi-Labs has allowed Ikram to continue immersing herself in the world of computer science while enhancing her graphic design and video creation skills. [Spring 2022]
Ria Bawiskar
Ria has been part of the UIC Girls Who Code chapter for six years, and the skills and community she has built there have inspired her to leave a positive impact on femmes in engineering ever since. Devi-Labs has provided Ria with another opportunity to spread the amazing yet simple power of code to marginalized communities. In addition to computer science, she is an avid reader, and enthused gymnast! [Summer 2021]
