Nikita Thakur
My name is Nikita Thakur, and I am currently a Master’s in Computer Science Student at University of Illinois at Chicago. I have worked as an Application Developer for 4 years. I’m passionate about programming and learning new skills. My areas of focus are Data Science, Big Data and Machine Learning.
I enjoy being a part of a knowledge-centric and challenging environment that requires me to work outside my comfort zone and knowledge set. I love to express through art! I also enjoy reading, watching movies & anime, and cooking! [2022]
Maria Villegas
Hello! My name is Maria Villegas. I am a 2020 graduate from UIC’s Computer Science program in the College of Engineering. I have been working as a programmer for the last year. I am passionate about languages both spoken and programming. I will be co-instructing Devi-Labs classes and helping multi-lingual students learn programming.
Anything that puts my brain in a creative problem solving mode is very exciting! I enjoy photography, travel and petting all the dogs I come across. [2021, 2022]
